Lily Burrows
My name is Lily and I’m so excited to be joining the Chik-Wauk team as the summer intern! I’m originally from Minneapolis, MN, and have spent the last couple years in Northfield, MN getting my bachelors degree in history. My historical fields of interest include Indigenous and African American histories. I’m passionate about museums, public history, and making museums more accessible! This summer will be my first time on the Gunflint Trail, but not my first introduction to Northern MN. I was 13 when I first visited the Boundary Waters on a canoe trip, and haven loved the BWCA ever since! I’m really looking forward to spending more time up here!
When I’m not in school or working you can find me catching up on my ever-growing reading list, learning a new craft (I recently learned to knit!), or planning my next lino print! I look forward to meeting you on your visit to Chik-Wauk!
