My name is Caroline, and I will be working as the Program Director at Chik-Wauk in the Nature Center.
I grew up in Plymouth, MN and a good chunk of my childhood was spent going on walks at the local park and finding toads and snakes. Not much has changed, as I continue to do those things as an adult. I have held a variety of jobs that all have in common that they take place mostly outdoors, including being a naturalist, tour guide, and field technician. I enjoy canoe trips, swimming, skiing, photography, and knitting, and am particularly passionate about birds.
During the off-season, I stay busy as an Environmental Education teacher in Duluth, MN where I try to get my students as excited about random, trivial things in nature as I am.
