Mark your calendars: The Old-Fashioned Pie and Ice Cream Social is on September 6!
The Annual Old-Fashioned Pie and Ice Cream Social is held at the Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center campus.
As always, there will be plenty of locally homemade pies to choose from, with a suggested donation per slice of pie, ice cream, and beverage. 🥧🍦
The day will also feature:
Music by Jim Miller – Playing his own style of music on the North Shore since 2003, Jim performs many familiar tunes from artists like John Prine, Gordon Lightfoot, Bob Dylan, Rodney Crowell, and more. 🎶
The Annual Chik-Wauk “Sidewalk” Sale – Enjoy steep discounts on many gift shop items.

It’s a fun way to wrap up the summer and say “So long till next year” to friends and neighbors. All proceeds support the daily operational costs of Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center. Free admission all day.
