Friday Guided Nature Hikes with Emma Adams this week is Fire History and Ecology

Every Friday from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., join naturalist Emma Adams for a guided hike through the Chik-Wauk trail system. Whether you’re solo, with a friend, or bringing the whole family, this weekly walk is a great way to explore the flora and fauna of the Northwoods.

🌧️ Rain or Shine – Emma leads the hike in all weather, so come prepared and curious!

💚 Free & Family-Friendly – Donations are always appreciated to support programming.

🚗 Take your time driving up the Gunflint Trail National Scenic Byway and enjoy the journey.
📍 Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center is located 55 miles up the Gunflint Trail (Cook County Hwy 12), just 1/4 mile off UT County Rd 81 on the shore of beautiful Saganaga Lake.
